If you have identified a patient under your care who may be considered
as tolerant please contact us.
If you have identified a patient, you will need to obtain local
ethical approval and R&D approval at your site to participate in this project.
If you are recruiting within the UK you will have to obtain site
specific assessment from your own research ethics committee.
We will fill out both forms on your behalf and once completed we will send the forms to you to sign and send into the relevant departments.
We wil assist in any way possible to make this a hassle free task for you. Once we gain approval from both departments, we will send you all the shipping and collecting supplies you will need.
We will book the pick-up for you and no costs should be incurred by you.
We need to gain some clinical information from the patient. If you are happy to do this for us, that would be great. In some circumastances you may need to rely on your local research nurse to help you complete the clinical info or we will kindly come to your site and complete this for you.
You can obtain further information on the COREC website which is the ethical
headquarters for all research ethics committees across the UK and can inform you on the multicentre study protocol:
http://www.corec.org.uk
You may not approach the patient to sign any consent forms or
take any samples from them until ethical approval has been achieved.
If recruitment is successful, we will add you to the list of doctors
participating, in our physicians club and keep you updated with
any advancements made during the project.
